Nerd!

Note: For the technologically challenged, please skip this post.

Have you been having problems using your Yahoo mail account in your Outlook or any email client for that matter because you don't know the pop server settings and all that nonsense? Some of you may actually have the correct pop server settings but can't use it since the Yahoo mail account that you have is the FREE version. Does $20.00 cost too much for you to upgrade to the paid version of Yahoo mail a.k.a. Yahoo plus? Well worry no more 'coz the answer is here! Below is a step by step guide on how to work around the system so that you can incorporate your FREE yahoo mail account in your Outlook or most email clients.

Let's Begin!

Step 4: Click on "Set language, site, timezone" under the "Account Settings" section of the page

Step 5: Change the "Regional Site and Language" drop down to "Yahoo! Asia" and select "GMT +8:00 Singapore" on the next drop down menu (If "Yahoo! Asia" doesn't work try "Yahoo! Philippines") then click "Save" or "I accept"

Step 6: Go back to the main Yahoo mail page then click "Options" located on the upper right hand side of the page and select "More Options"

Step 7: Click on "POP and Forwarding"

Step 8: Select "Allow your Yahoo! Mail to be POPed" (it's up to you if you want to include the spam messages)

Step 9: Click "Save Changes"
