The Blue Hat

Warning: Spoiler ahead

I'm referring to the all powerful blue hat given by Harry Mitchell (Anthony Mackie) to David Norris (Matt Damon) for him to have special access to the doors which opens up to different parts of New York city. I would say that this movie is a breath of fresh air. It may not be that great of a movie but it's nicely done since it explored something that we have (specially religious people) always pondered about.
The plan. The grand plan that God made for us. The purpose why we are living, breathing, eating, working and any other verb that ends with an "ing". It was presented in a perspective that everyone would be familiar of. If you've watched a lot of action/spy movies involving the CIA, the FBI, Mi6 and what have you, you would basically have the idea. Shady men in suites watching every move you make. From the bus that you take down to the calls that you make.
The movie doesn't really concentrate on what the adjustment bureau is or what they can do, but tackles more on what will happen to the main characters should they decide to deviate from the plan on which the adjustment bureau is keen on having enforced. It is a nice fictional movie that will have you thinking if we are the ones in control of our destinies or if someone out there is doing what they do to make sure that our life goes according to THE PLAN. I give it 3.5 stars. Here's the trailer of the movie. Enjoy!

That hat will save me from all the traffic. And it's stylish too...I think.
